MDR-G1011｜Digital Inner Mirror That Supports Your View and Recording While Driving

MDR-G1011 is a factory-replacement type digital inner mirror that can display the rear camera feed at all times. Because the rear camera installed inside the vehicle displays what’s behind, you can easily check the rear situation on the screen—something that’s often difficult to confirm with a conventional mirror.

Both the front and rear cameras use Sony’s STARVIS, which is strong at capturing images in dark environments. Even in situations where brightness changes easily—such as at night or in tunnels—you can more easily monitor what’s behind, and it also supports 1080p recording for both front and rear.

It also includes driving-assistance features that notify you of things like your distance from the vehicle ahead, pedestrians approaching, and lane departure. Since it also alerts you with a warning sound when a vehicle or pedestrian comes close from behind, it helps reduce the chance of overlooking important hazards while driving.

If you connect a GPS antenna, you can also display your driving speed and date/time on the screen. In the event of an emergency, you’ll be able to check not only the footage but also driving-related information.
